| Synopsis | Popeye, saddened by the sight of dogs in a pet shop, buys them and releases them into the streets. Pursued by a dog catcher, the hungry dogs discover freedom isn't so great after all. They gladly follow Popeye back to the pet shop. / Popeye has a nightmare in which he is unable to save Olive Oyl from Bluto. In his dreams he finally catches up with his adversary but for once his blows are ineffectual. He wakes up and then starts after Bluto, who this time, is completely innocent! / Bluto lures Popeye & Olive to a haunted house. He begins playing a series of comical tricks on them, but when they discover he is behind it, they plot their revenge. |
